Residents Associations

Church Close Residents' Association

The Church Close Residents' Association was formed in 2005 to manage and maintain the road surface in the interest of safety and amenity, which includes verges, additional land, trees, drains and other structures which form part of the road.
It also serves the purpose to protect the amenity and character of the road, deal with local authority and any other person or body with an interest over the road.
The Association has enhanced the social interaction between the residents, with yearly BBQ's which are attended by all.

Church Close Farmoor
Church Close Farmoor Road clear up days happen every 6 months, which means a Sunday morning get together for a good chin wag, some beers and teamwork to weed and clear any debris collected through stormy and windy days.

Church Close has definitely become well recognised as one of the most sought after roads to live in Farmoor.  Gardens are generally well maintained and look beautiful in the summer and even winter months.

Church Close is also home to St Mary’s Church of England and it is indeed a little church with a big heart.  The Association has it's yearly AGM's in the church and its always well attended with our youngest boy in the close (Patrick) playing us in and out on the church organ.

Cycle Track Project

We also have keen cyclists in the close who are volunteers on the Cycle Track Project and eager to get on their bikes. I am sure once the cycle track is built we will have more in the close join the green agenda.
